Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators to capture more referrals, cut denials, and reduce care delays.
For as large of a sector as it is (17.3% of US GDP), healthcare has some of the ugliest design we’ve ever seen. It makes sense… high regulation, little incentive… but what if it didn’t have to be that way?
Part of our company mission to bring healthcare into the information age means completely redefining the design standards for all the healthtech companies that follow. We pride ourselves on putting out genuinely category-setting creative work—just check out our ad campaign Faxing Isn’t the Problem.
This is a highly autonomous role with real influence. We have the foundations of our visual identity, but there’s significant room for it to grow & expand. Our founder-led buy-in for unique brand moments means that your work won’t be limited to just social assets—past projects have included an installation for the media wall at Lincoln Center, custom-fabricated wood-and-steel trophies, and a visual identity for a Circus-themed event.
