We’re seeking a Staff Product Manager to help define and scale AI-powered experiences that enable millions of members to make smarter financial decisions. This role sits at the intersection of product, applied AI, and platform strategy, requiring strong product judgment, deep systems thinking, and comfort operating in a rapidly evolving space. You will lead cross-functional teams to translate Generative AI capabilities into trustworthy, high-impact member experiences across Credit Karma.
What you’ll do:
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for AI-powered experiences that support financial progress for our members.
- Translate evolving AI capabilities into simple, trustworthy, and high-impact consumer products.
- Develop clear business cases, product requirements, and success metrics for new initiatives and platform capabilities.
- Establish and evolve evaluation frameworks to measure product quality, accuracy, trust, safety, and member impact in AI-driven systems.
- Partner deeply with engineering and Data Science teams to inform system design, model selection, experimentation strategy, and platform scalability.
- Operate at multiple time horizons, shipping rapid iterations while shaping long-term AI platform strategy.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across product teams to ensure AI capabilities are reusable, scalable, and aligned with broader company strategy.
- Monitor product health and performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve quality, engagement, and business impact.
- Champion responsible AI principles, ensuring experiences are transparent, reliable, and aligned with member trust and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to senior and executive leadership.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling consumer technology products.
What we we’d like to see:
- Proven success operating and leading in highly ambiguous, emerging, or 0→1 product environments, with the ability to bring clarity and scalable structure to complex problem spaces.
- Strong systems thinker with the ability to design platform capabilities that power multiple products or experiences.
- Experience influencing across multiple teams or product areas without direct authority.
- Deep curiosity and rigor in leveraging data and user insights to inform product strategy.
- Technical fluency and comfort partnering closely with engineering, data science, and AI/ML teams.
- Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear product direction.
- Track record of crafting market-leading consumer experiences that simplify complex concepts into intuitive, elegant products.
- High ownership mentality - you stretch beyond the boundaries of your role to drive impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
