Role Overview
As a Senior UX/UI Design Lead, you will report directly to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As a key member of the product leadership team, you will collaborate closely with talented team members to continuously enhance our product and foster a culture of design excellence both within and outside the team.

Your mission:

  • Team management and mentorship. Oversee the UX/UI team in its day-to-day work, ensuring its integration within cross-functional squads and enabling it to track and understand the impact of its work on the company's objectives. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture the team, providing guidance and support.

  • Align product designs with company goals and user experience. Work closely with squad leaders, product managers, and key stakeholders to ensure that product designs align with company goals and vision while maintaining a focus on user experience.

  • Define and implement UX/UI strategy. Develop and execute the overall design strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and user needs.

  • Translate business requirements into user experiences. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

  • Conduct user research and testing. Gain insights into user behavior and preferences through research, usability testing, and analysis.

  • Create and iterate design concepts. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate ideas effectively and continuously optimize designs based on feedback and best practices.

  • Establish and maintain design standards. Ensure consistency and coherence across all products and platforms by setting and upholding design standards and guidelines.

  • Stay updated on trends and technologies. Keep up with emerging trends, technologies, and design tools to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Your ideal profile:

  • Relevant educational background. You are willing to embrace new challenges with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Service Design, or a related field.

  • Proven experience and leadership. You have 5+ years of experience in UX/UI digital design roles and a minimum of 3 years of leading design teams, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise and leadership.

  • Design tools and methodologies. You are proficient in Figma or similar design tools, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and design thinking methodologies.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, along with experience in conducting user research and usability testing.

  • Communication and leadership. You are able to lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and can communicate in a structured and convincing manner, adapting your style to build trust with various stakeholders.

  • Industry passion and language proficiency. You have a passion for FinTech or startup environments and are fluent in Italian and English, with excellent knowledge of both languages.
