Meeting your future team:

Joining Collibra’s User Experience Research team:

In this role, you will be responsible for helping the organization learn from our product analytics, identify trends and areas for deeper qualitative exploration, and working with design and product to measure the impact of the product experience via relevant usage data.

You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and writers to craft and address the right research questions. Your research results will inform product strategy and design, and will be presented to company leadership.

User Researchers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Working with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other User Experience Researchers to prioritize research opportunities in an outcome-focused environment.
  • Working with quantitative product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo) to measure the success of product experiences and identify opportunities for deeper qualitative research.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to define what measures and metrics are appropriate to indicate the success of the product experience. Creating metrics dashboards to easily communicate product health across the organization.

You Have:

  • A strong foundation in data analysis and using product analytics to inform product decisions and qualitative user research
  • Experience with all aspects of usability research, from study design and planning through recruiting and moderation to analysis, and reporting of findings
  • Experience with research operations including building research templates and tools to improve team efficiency and consistency
  • Ability to work lean research into agile product deadlines and roadmaps

You Are:

  • Familiar with survey design and development
  • Familiar with product analytics and examining these datasets for trends and patterns relevant to larger UX projects
  • Interested in growing team efficiencies and processes
  • Willing to contribute ideas around team growth as we scale our processes and resources

Measuring Success:

Reporting to Collibra’s Director of User Research measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will train and work on learning the product landscape and stakeholders
  • Within your third month, you will be plugging into more product analytics work to deliver insights into user behavior
  • Within your sixth month, you will own and define the measurement program for the UX team delivering insights to design and product about the success of our product experiences
