WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with a high level of technical expertise to join Braze’s Ingestion team.

The Ingestion product empowers our customers to seamlessly bring their data from multiple external sources into Braze through our Ingestion APIs and endpoints. Customers can then use that data  to engage their end users in a meaningful and impactful way via Braze.

As a member of the Ingestion team, you will collaborate with other product teams across the company to ensure that building powerful features utilizing this data is a straightforward process. We take pride in developing products that offer our customers the flexibility to unify their data from various sources, the reliability and performance to ingest billions of data points, and the observability needed to quickly address any emerging issues with their data.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of complex data systems, be comfortable with large-scale data processing, and be able to work with technical teams to improve and innovate these systems. They should also understand how to use data to meet customer needs and drive product development. A deep understanding of the evolving data technology landscape and its impact on company behavior is also essential. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own the product roadmap and strategy for your product area
  • Work closely with engineers and product designers to bring new products and features to life
  • Immerse yourself in understanding our customers, market trends, and the technology landscape
  • Stay abreast of our evolving product offerings and work with teams to enhance our data transparency accordingly
  • Collaborate with User Experience Researchers to uplevel your knowledge and empathy for our customers and their use cases, and to help you identify future product opportunities
  • Ensure the continued quality and stability of your product
  • Refine our technology and processes to enable us to innovate more swiftly with minimal impact on our customers

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Familiarity with schema and/or API design, database performance characteristics, systems integration
  • Professional software engineering experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills
  • A proactive, positive, can-do attitude. You drive projects to completion excellently, and are always looking for new ways that processes and products can be improved
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team and balance multiple projects at once
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience at a B2B SaaS company
    • Marketing industry experience or subject matter expertise
    • Experience product managing APIs or Data Products
