Headquartered in New York City, Dataiku was founded in Paris in 2013 and achieved unicorn status in 2019. Now, more than 1,000+ employees work across the globe in our offices and remotely. Backed by a renowned set of investors and partners including CapitalG, Tiger Global, and ICONIQ Growth, we’ve set out to build the future of AI.

Dataiku is the platform for Everyday AI. By making the use of data and AI an everyday behavior for people in both business and technical roles, Dataiku unlocks the creativity within individual employees to power collective success at companies of all sizes and across all industries. As a technical product marketing manager, you will be a product storyteller, creating product demo scripts and videos for our website, sales education and sharing, social media, and events. But your opportunity does not stop there. You will join an experienced team and master a broad set of product marketing skills as you develop into a well-rounded, experienced product marketer.

As a product marketer at Dataiku, you will represent the product in internal and external communication. The role is not just about explaining or demonstrating product features. We go beyond: why a feature matters, what it means to customers, and the value it can create. You will need to be an excellent communicator and someone who connects the dots and explains complex topics to other people in an accessible and approachable manner.

As a product marketer, you will play a critical role in product launches and technical product education. You will ensure that customers, partners, and prospects understand the value of crucial product capabilities and newly released features. You will develop content, including messaging, web copy, product briefs, presentations, videos, and demonstrations that articulate the product's benefits and value to our customers.

In this demanding role, you will regularly collaborate with teams across the company, including product management, sales, customer success, creative and design teams, and technical alliances. Such collaboration requires strong diplomatic skills and the ability to lead small cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Expert - Be a subject matter expert on key areas of the product. Describe and demonstrate how customers would use those capabilities to drive value for their business.

  • Technical Marketing Content - Develop product demonstrations, scripts, and videos that connect with our target audience. Write story-driven narratives and create storyboards that will resonate with your audience and showcase the product in its best light.

  • Market intelligence - understand the competitive landscape and be the expert on your target buyer personas, who they are, how they buy, and their critical buying criteria.

  • Collaborate with product management to align on product direction and roadmap and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer and user personas.

 Requirements:

  • Technical mindset - You are excited to get into the product and understand how it works, so you can explain it to others and teach them about its benefits. You can demonstrate this mindset through prior experience or examples.

  • Experience in data, analytics, or AI products, including prior work experience or hands-on experience in related data science tools and technology.

  • Familiar with video production tools like Camtasia or Adobe

  • Exceptional focus on time management and measurable outcomes

  • A charismatic and engaging speaker, comfortable presenting in front of the camera making videos, or speaking in front of groups.

  • Must be a strong writer, including blogs and scripts. Quality storytelling and writing are important to the success of this role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and build trusted relationships with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties. Team player!

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
