Context

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Internal Tools team who are tasked with working across our Platform to support our growth, creativity and brokerage operations.

You’ll be a big part of overseeing our internal facing products.

Shares is a fast growing and evolving organisation. The expected candidate should have experience working in a fast paced environment and be results-driven.

The role will involve overseeing projects across engineering teams in areas such as:

• Infrastructure
• Internal tooling
• Technical Vendor management, evaluation and negotiation
• Driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams
• Communicating with non technical internal and external stakeholders
• Helping facilitate technical discussions and work planning between product and engineering
• Collaborate with non technical product managers

Some things to expect

• Responsible for the money movements, settlements, reconciliations & FX hedging
• Keen on developing and incorporating new asset classes
• Help the Shares Platform scale across Europe, Asia and US in the next 12-24 months
• Work hand-in-hand with the Brokerage Operations team to further support and facilitate their efforts to create a seamless product

Requirements

Skills

• You must have either previous experience as a technical product manager, an engineering manager, or an engineering team lead.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high growth environment and act entrepreneurially to drive the business forward
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience building, scaling and maintaining a customer centric applications
• Strong leadership skills, self starter, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical and problem-solving experience with platforms, infrastructure and organisations
• Demonstrates a proactive and solutions centric approach to work
• Experience working with agile teams

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves)

• Familiarity and interest in FinTech, financial markets, investing applications. (FinTech work experience is a plus)
