The Team

At Mews we have multiple product families. One of them is our Fin-tech family focused on everything related to Fin-tech and Payments. Together with other Product Managers within our Fin-tech family and our Product Director you will continue to build our Fintech stack. Of course you will have to align with other Product Managers from other families (e.g. B2B, Connectivity, B2C, ect.) on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

As Product Manager for Payments you will be looking after our Payments product such as our partner integrations, monitoring of payments, managing our payment method portfolio (both card present and card not present), internal payment dashboards, looking after the general health of our payments product, (automatic) settlements, reporting & reconciliation, onboarding processes and much more.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Partner with our research, analytics, finance, data science & operations teams to deeply understand, analyze, and synthesise customer and company needs into product priorities, roadmaps, and detailed specifications.
• Co-own part of the Fin-tech PnL specifically to your products.
• Asses different opportunities for product development and execute on the best ones

• Execute on Fin-tech product strategy through your roadmap in close partnership with engineering, design, data, marketing, legal and operation teams.
• Analyze and report on key product initiatives to the executives, product teams and other key stakeholders.
• Develop a deep understanding of the market as well as our customers, their pains and jobs-to-be-done. Systematically analyze user feedback.
• Plan and execute the product roadmap based on an objectively prioritized backlog. Decompose complex problems and write clear specifications.
• Help build a strong high level product-focused culture that provides customers with delightful, differentiated experiences.

• Work closely with customers and perform competitive analysis, without losing sight of company vision, to drive product planning and prioritization.

Requirements

?️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• 3+ years experience in the payment industry (bonus points if you worked for payment providers or processors in the past), especially in card processing
• 7+ years experience with modern product management

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field would be an advantage
• Ability to create financial models to support your and your teams’ decisions
• Continuous discovery habits
• Experience with building and deploying B2B2C products, or you have experience being hyper-focused on the end-user experience for a SaaS product
• Knowledgeable with project management software

• Experience working with worked with unstructured and structured data sets.
• Ability to lead with strategic decisions for your product using data insights
• Understanding of product development process
• Experience in hospitality and/or B2B product management would be an advantage
• Experience with working with a team where product manager, designer and tech lead are equals
