Senior Product Manager

Full-timeSenior Product Manager$147,100-$207,000*
New York, United States
Please let Multiverse know you found this offer on WeLoveProduct as a way to support us 🫶

We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to college and corporate training.

In June 2022, we announced our $220m Series D raise, making Multiverse a mission-driven unicorn. This funding will help us to accelerate our growth in the US, where we’re committed to tackling the toughest challenges facing those who seek jobs - and those who provide them.

In our first year in the US, we launched over 20 apprentice cohorts at some of the best companies in America, including the likes of American Express, Citizens Bank and Visa. Globally, we work with over 500 clients and we’ve been recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe.

Join us on our journey to democratizing access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

Requirements

You’ll help define how the world approaches education and careers.

We are expanding rapidly in the US, and we want a pioneer product manager to help build out a squad in the US to support our Client Experience product area. As you will be a key senior product team member in the US, you will also be tasked to give the rest of the product team valuable context into the US market.

The Client Experience area will be working with the Go to Market teams to see how we can make them more efficient in onboarding and selling apprenticeships to our clients - by creating online tools for clients to login and view metrics and dashboards on how their investment with us is going. You'll be looking at client volumes, NPS and LTV.

No two days at Multiverse are the same, so we need someone who is comfortable with the unknown unknowns. On top of that we want someone who will be passionate about building structure and process into our growing team in a way that doesn’t hold us back from achieving our goals.

Once here, you will be

  • Creating a product vision for how we can onboard and retain clients through automated means vs. just humans
  • Being a champion for the US market, but making sure to build with both US and UK markets in mind
  • Articulating the product vision to the ProdTech and wider team
  • Understanding customer needs through research and market data
  • Writing epics and user stories in collaboration with design and engineering
  • Maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog
  • Tracking releases and sharing development updates with the wider team
  • Participating in team ceremonies (stand up, retrospectives)
  • Supporting designers and engineers with any questions they have
  • Always keeping an eye on the ‘what next’ opportunities, ensuring we are analysing and iterating on our core product offering

What you bring

  • You're a self-starter - keen to have impact, and make change in a growing organisation. You've done this before and proven yourself as a product or Senior product manager for at least 3-5 years.
  • You are excited about taking the business on a journey to bring more online - and to place greater emphasis on the ‘outcome’ versus just the 'output'
  • You’ve worked with agile teams who’ve utilised Scrum or Kanban frameworks
  • You’re comfortable collaborating with our UX researcher, designers and engineering team, ensuring involvement and communication happens at the right time
  • You’re experienced with backlog management and involvement in the research, design and engineering stages of product development
  • You’ve got strong stakeholder management skills with experience in prioritisation and setting a clear vision for the team

Benefits

  • 23 days PTO, plus 1 life event and 1 volunteer day
  • 4 additional company-wide days off to focus on your wellbeing
  • Comprehensive insurance plans and 401(k) starting on your first day
  • Hybrid Working - Work from our New York Office or Remotely with Monthly Travel to the New York Office
  • Ownership in the business through equity options
  • Learn from the people who grew four different pre-IPO businesses to multi-billion dollar valuations (most recently AppDynamics)
  • Be at the heart of a rapidly accelerating business that the leading Silicon Valley VCs are investing in, and be part of the foundational team on the ground in the US
  • Be surrounded by smart, driven and ambitious people who dream big, work hard and have fun

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
