We're looking for a Product Design Leader for Debit+, a new category of product that is currently in beta and will continue to expand its reach. You’ll create the long term design strategy working with a GM of product management, engineering and analytics to continuously grow the product and offering. You’ve demonstrated delivering high quality consumer financial experience through building high functioning design teams that are inspired by consumer insights and data. You’re intrigued how you can enable our consumers' lives through payments and see an opportunity for a win-win-win relationship for our consumers, merchants and Affirm. You’re opinionated about product direction down to the pixels, words, and are relentless about improving the experience.
You partner well with other experience design leadership including design, research and content to ensure cohesion across the design organization and help drive internal cultural change to champion our merchants and consumers.
This role will report to the VP of Design and Research.

Location - Remote U.S.
Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company! The majority of our roles are remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of the U.S. Territories, Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories) unless the job indicates a different global location. We are currently building operations in Spain, Poland, and Australia. Employees in remote roles have the option of working remotely or from an Affirm office in their country of hire, and may occasionally travel to an Affirm office or elsewhere for required meetings or team-building events. Our offices in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Toronto will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis, subject to local COVID-19 guidelines.
All full-time jobs at Affirm (excluding interns and apprentices) are tied to a transparent grade-based pay range taking location into account.
