As a Product Marketing Manager at Nightfall, you'll drive the go-to-market strategy to activate Nightfall’s DLP solution for cybersecurity, compliance, and developer personas. You'll partner closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to execute on a variety of product marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with product and sales teams to develop product positioning, messaging and sales enablement to create a cohesive go-to-market motion. You will have the opportunity to create the narrative for our vision through our upcoming product releases by strengthening our customer relationships, contributing to product development, and becoming a subject matter expert on data loss prevention. This role will have a large impact on growing our revenue. Success in this role is measured by the impact made on creating pipeline and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop product positioning, value-based messaging, and technical and demand generation content for consumption online, in campaigns, and events
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategy and execution for key products and solutions in collaboration with the Sales Team
- Bring products to life with a best-in-class launch process that leverages all channels to excite, amaze, and inspire our industry
- Produce effective sales training and enablement materials (i.e. presentations, solutions briefs, and demos) for the field and partners
- Develop compelling customer-facing presentations for the Nightfall data protection platform to inspire, motivate, and ultimately win flagship brands and generate the best customer stories in the business. Create and launch campaigns that lead to high-quality pipeline generation and ultimately closed business.
- Work directly with customers, in a global context, to drive market share and awareness.
- Create written and multimedia content that will help us build pipeline and close business
- Own pricing & packaging strategy across the organization, including conducting research, framing strategic considerations, creating potential solutions, collaborating with senior executives, incorporating industry learnings, and driving toward decisions
Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in product marketing at a high tech company (experience with data loss prevention and cybersecurity is preferred)
- Ability to craft differentiated positioning and messaging, build effective sales content, and deliver compelling presentations
- Ability to discern complex product information into value-based messaging
- Demonstrated execution of GTM activities for product launches
- A “general manager” mentality and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating a wide array of content: datasheets, videos, blog posts, case studies, etc.
- Experience with enterprise technology and the sales cycle
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and demonstrated success delivering results
- BA or BS required; MBA preferred
- Strong creative writing skills, with an eye for good design
- Comfortable working with and analyzing data

- Experience with technology products that target security compliance and developer teams
- Understanding of the global market around data protection, compliance, and related security markets
- Experience marketing to small, medium and large security software buyers in highly regulated industries
