We’re looking for a commercially-minded Product Marketing Manager to join our central consumer engagement marketing team at Deliveroo. You will report to the Engagement Director and work collaboratively between the central Engagement product team and Deliveroo’s many local and vertical marketing teams to increase the impact and efficiency of our global promotions.

You will lead the evolution of Deliveroo’s promotional strategy across both Deliveroo-funded and Partner-funded promos and discounts, to achieve the maximum value for our consumers with a first-class customer experience. As an important part of our team (composed of product marketers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists) you will directly influence our global product roadmap for promotions. You will secure insights and understand our customers, our markets and the competitive landscape.

What you'll do:

  • Promotional Strategy. Partnering with local and vertical marketing teams across the business to design a holistic and scalable Deliveroo promotional strategy that pairs growth and financial efficiency with a first-class customer experience.
  • Go-To-Market Management. Bridging the gap between the central Engagement team and the local / vertical marketing teams, using planning, communication and great relationships to increase awareness, adoption and satisfaction with the centrally owned promotional tools and capabilities.
  • Domain Expertise. Advising teams on the design, execution and measurement of incentive campaigns. Influencing local markets to test, adopt or scale new strategies, tooling and campaign ideas.
  • Insights. Working in collaboration with Data Science, Competitor Intelligence, and Insights teams to develop the insights that increase the growth contribution of promotions on Deliveroo's global and market level goals. Sharing insights across markets and vertical teams to maximise the value of every campaign.
  • Product Prioritisation. Synchronising product feedback and requirements to help prioritise the promotional development roadmap. Advocate for both our customers and our global, local and vertical partners to ensure the highest impact projects are delivered. Ensure relevant team members are aware and engaged in the quarterly project prioritisation process, and manage mid-quarter reprioritisation requests.
  • Playbooking. Build promotional guides to ensure agreement on how to talk about our growth tools across teams, and how to communicate the right message to the right customer/partner based on their needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years work experience in strategy, consulting or product-based roles, or with relevant operational experience in the discounting space
  • Experience managing complex projects and partnering with different departments (especially with commercial, financial, or technical roles)
  • Experience presenting and communicating complex products/plans/results with senior leadership
  • Internet or technology industry experience, with emphasis on multi-channel (CRM, partnerships, direct sales, etc).
  • This is a hybrid role which requires you to be based in HQ (Cannon Street) for 3 days per week.
