We’re looking for a product marketing manager to develop and lead our go-to-market strategies for one of our fastest-growing markets: Japan. As Product Marketing Manager, Japan, you will define Asana’s product marketing vision and strategy to drive new signups and pipeline, working across marketing, sales, and product to implement it. 

You will be responsible for developing clear positioning and messaging, launching new products and solutions, enabling sales (both self-serve and enterprise), and executing programs to drive new signups and pipeline.

What you’ll achieve

  • Gather and synthesize customer, competitive, and market insights to inform our web, content, and sales enablement strategies for Japan
  • Guide product positioning, messaging, and storytelling for Japan
  • Develop, lead, support and communicate go-to-market strategies and content localization
  • Develop processes to understand customer use cases, package those insights, and promote them in a way that drives customer engagement

About you

  • Have 5-8 years of product marketing experience 
  • History of productive collaboration with product and sales
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Able to manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic and 
  • increasingly global environment
  • Flexible, and ready to jump on new projects and opportunities (even if loosely defined or out of the initially defined job scope)
  • B2B software experience a plus
  • Japanese speaker with business level fluency in English
