The Role

We’re looking for a technical-minded Product Manager to join Nitro’s Platform team, leading a new greenfield initiative focused on automation and APIs.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of how customers connect with Nitro, moving beyond manual workflows and empowering them to automate document processes that integrate seamlessly with their existing tools and leverage intelligent, AI-driven automation.

As Product Manager, API & Automation, you’ll own Nitro’s core API products and the integrations that enable our customers to automate and scale their current document workflows, ranging from automating the employee onboarding process at global enterprises to automatically redacting PII within documents to help customers deal with compliance challenges.

This role will introduce the developer as a new User type within Nitro and creating a best-in-class developer experience is central to Nitro’s ability to excel.

You’ll also lead the expansion of Nitro’s platform into Integration Platforms and no-code ecosystems such as Zapier, Power Automate, and beyond to open up these benefits to Nitro’s customers who aren’t in a position to leverage APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define the strategy and roadmap for Nitro’s API and Automation products, with input from stakeholders across the business.
• Become an expert in user needs. The API is a tool that serves part of Nitro users’ jobs to be done. You’ll be tasked with understanding the end-to-end problems our customers are trying to resolve and what Nitro’s role is in it.
• Shape and launch a new automation platform that extends Nitro’s capabilities beyond the current experience, aiming to save our users hundreds of thousands of hours through automated, intelligent workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, AI/ML experts as well as GTM partners to bring innovative API and automation features to market quickly and effectively.
• Drive discovery and validation using data, market research, and direct customer feedback (including developers) to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
• Define and monitor OKRs that will ensure we deliver measurable value to our customers and the business.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure our API and automation solutions are discoverable, adoptable, and clearly communicated.
• Leverage AI and LLMs thoughtfully. AI is going to be a central tool in the future of how customers interact with Nitro. You’ll help evolve how Nitro builds and buys AI capabilities to best serve our users’ needs.

We’d Love to Hear from You If You: 

• Have 3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with experience working in a B2B SaaS or developer platform environments.
• Can distil complex problems into clear, actionable plans and prioritize effectively.
• Are comfortable and excited to be working in technical domains (APIs, integrations, automation, developer tools).
• Have a bias for action — you thrive in fast-moving, evolving spaces.
• Understand commercial levers and can connect customer needs to business impact.
• Communicate with confidence across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Have experience collaborating with or building for developers and integration partners.
• Are excited about AI, automation, and APIs and how they’re transforming productivity and customer workflows.
