We're building the future of legal AI - and we need you to lead it

EvenUp is revolutionizing personal injury law with AI that doesn't just assist—it acts. We're moving beyond chatbots and copilots into agentic workflows that autonomously orchestrate legal work, make intelligent decisions, and surface next-best actions that drive real case outcomes.

We're looking for a product manager (level to be decided after the interview) who will build the brain of our AI system: the orchestration layer that powers everything from intelligent playbooks to self-executing workflows to continuous learning systems.

This isn't about managing features. It's about architecting how AI agents work together to transform how law firms operate—and defining what "agentic workflow" means for legal AI.

What you'll own

You'll be the hands-on builder for our AI orchestration products & platforms below — the connective tissue that makes our AI tools intelligent, proactive, and increasingly autonomous:

AI Playbooks

Define, extract, and act on what matters. Build the system that lets firms teach our AI what to look for, then automatically run that intelligence across every case, every document—eliminating repetitive review and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Smart Workflows

Rules that think. Create workflows that don't just follow instructions—they analyze case data, make decisions about when to act, and automatically route cases toward faster resolution and higher settlements. Turn institutional knowledge into executable logic that survives turnover and scales with volume.

Context Systems

Make AI know each case. Build knowledge graphs, context injection systems, and dynamic prompting that give our AI deep understanding of case history, firm preferences, and legal nuances—so every AI action is informed, personalized, and trustworthy.

Evaluation & Quality Control

Agents need accountability. Own the eval framework, prompt iteration systems, and quality feedback loops that make our AI not just powerful, but reliable and continuously improving.

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • 4-8+ years in product management ideally with AI/ML products, workflow automation, or B2B SaaS

  • Deep curiosity about agentic systems – you're already thinking about multi-agent architectures, tool-use, chain-of-thought, and how AI systems make decisions

  • Ruthless prioritization – you know how to ship fast, iterate faster, and make hard trade-offs in resource-constrained environments

  • Technical fluency – you can work directly with AI engineers, debate prompt engineering strategies, understand eval metrics, and dive into system architecture

  • Startup DNA – scrappy, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, energized (not exhausted) by rapid change

Ideal profile:

  • Experience building workflow automation, orchestration platforms, or developer tools

  • Prior exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG systems, or agent frameworks

  • Track record of 0→1 product development in fast-moving environments

  • Obsessed with staying on the bleeding edge – you're reading papers, testing new models, experimenting with agent frameworks

  • Legal tech or document-heavy domain experience is a bonus (but not required)

What will make you successful here:

  • Ownership mindset – you don't wait for direction; you see what needs to happen and make it happen

  • Builder mentality – you love getting your hands dirty, writing specs, mocking up flows, and prototyping solutions

  • Intellectual humility – agentic AI is evolving fast; you're comfortable saying "I don't know yet" and figuring it out

  • User empathy – you talk to customers constantly, understand their workflows deeply, and design with their pain points front of mind

  • Execution velocity – you ship weekly, learn continuously, and move faster than the competition

Why EvenUp? Why now?

  • We're going all-in on AI agency – not incrementalism, but fundamental reimagining of how legal work gets done

  • You'll define the category – agentic workflows in legal AI are nascent; you'll help establish the patterns others follow

  • Massive impact – your work directly affects case outcomes, settlement values, and access to justice for injury victims

  • World-class team – work alongside top-tier AI engineers, legal experts, and product leaders who are defining the future of legal tech

  • Resourced and backed – we have the runway, customer base, and leadership commitment to make big bets on AI innovation
