Lenus is looking for a Product Designer (UX/UI)

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Product Designer to help us execute on our goal to improve the coach and client experience on the Lenus platform. You will be responsible for the research, discovery and delivery of high-quality design solutions that solve the complex problems within your team’s missions.

You will build up a strong understanding of our user’s needs through user interviews and gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to derive key insights. You will incorporate these insights into the conceptualization of solutions following human-centered design principles and standards. This will be in the form of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that can be used to share your vision with key stakeholders.

You will also be a part of the wider Product Design team, where together, you will take a more holistic look at the entire Lenus product. You will be a key contributor to the Design Team meetings through knowledge sharing and feedback. You will also play a big part in the building and maintenance of our design system within Figma.We are looking for someone who can take initiative and champion user-centric design across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Lead the product design process of your cross-functional team from research and conceptualization to final design and implementation.
  • Contribute in the shaping of your team’s vision and product strategy.
  • Help your team to uncover what problem/s we are trying to solve and for who and why.
  • Take a leading role in defining, gathering and analysing the necessary data to inform your decisions and ensure that success can be measured.
  • Setup recurring cycles of constant user feedback and testing for both problem discovery and solution validation.
  • Ideate innovative solutions in the form of sketches, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Deliver pixel perfect designs that solve customer problems and support user needs amidst technical constraints.
  • Provide insight and context to design decisions and recommendations
  • Participate in building and maintaining our design system, making sure it improves brand alignment, visual quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with your engineers to ensure we are aligned in moving towards user-centric, accessible and technically viable solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of professional experience with UX and Product Design in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using various research methods and conducting user interviews to derive key insights.
  • A problem solver, driven to solve the most complex of UX & UI tasks.
  • Excellent visual and interaction design skills, keeping up-to-date with industry design trends.
  • A comprehensive understanding of research & design tools (we use Figma & Miro).
  • A constant appetite for growth. You’re humble and self-aware, and use it to improve your design practice and your understanding of the industry.
  • Experience in working with, building and maintaining design systems.
  • A love for collaborating with others, offering constructive feedback and sharing knowledge. You embrace feedback from your piers.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation and communication skills to influence decision-making. Including being fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • An interest in the health and fitness industry is a plus.
