Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, or Portugal. Conditions permitting, teams will meet in person a few weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly's hubs in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a workspace in Kraków.

We believe this balanced, flexible approach gives our team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust, unlocks creativity, and further fuels innovation.

Grammarly team members in this role are required to live within a daily commutable distance to New York City. Grammarly may provide relocation assistance.

The opportunity

Every day, tens of millions of people and 50,000 professional teams rely on Grammarly’s AI-enabled communication assistance to help them communicate confidently and achieve their goals. Our team members have the autonomy to take on exciting challenges in pursuit of our mission to improve lives by improving communication. Together, we’re building on more than a decade of steady growth and profitability. We’re defining the communication assistance category for individuals, enterprises, and developers with tailored service offerings: Grammarly Premium, Grammarly Business, Grammarly for Education, and Grammarly for Developers. All of this begins with our team collaborating in an inclusive, values-driven, and learning-oriented environment.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a B2B Product Marketing Manager, Grammarly @edu. The person in this role will own and drive the overall go-to-market strategy for the Grammarly @edu product offering to educational institutions, playing a critical part in the segment’s growth and success.

Grammarly’s Product Marketing team innovates and uncovers market insights and customer opportunities that influence and shape our product roadmap. Product Marketing Managers at Grammarly are:

  • Curious: They seek to understand the why and how.
  • Strategic: They know their product, market, customers, and business.
  • Story-driven and customer-obsessed: They’re excellent writers who build precise, compelling, and distinctive product positioning with compelling reasons to believe.
  • Opinionated: They’re grounded in user insights and data, and they operate with trust and influence because they’re dedicated to the best outcome for our business and customers.
  • Collaborative: They bring people together to work toward a common goal.

Your impact

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will help establish and build Grammarly as a B2B product offering in the education market.

In this role, you will:

  • Own, build and drive the overall Grammarly @edu go-to-market strategy to further extend Grammarly’s reach into the education segment.
  • Work closely with the Demand Generation team in the development of campaigns and programs that will drive leads and revenue.
  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of Grammarly’s product offerings, customers, prospects, competition, and market, and apply this knowledge to influence the product roadmap and business strategy.
  • Analyze information collected from win/loss interviews and pipeline behavior (conversion rates and velocity) to detect breakdowns in the marketing and sales processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Enable sellers to be successful with trainings and tools, including pitch decks, product demos, use cases, and battle cards.
  • Develop value-based messaging and positioning that communicate how Grammarly’s education solutions uniquely solve audience problems, and collaborate with the Content Marketing and Growth teams to bring the story to life through collateral, web content, videos, presentations, white papers, and more.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of our product in the market, and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Is able to collaborate in person in New York City 3 weeks per quarter.
  • Understands the marketing goals, processes, and frameworks of a typical SaaS product focused on B2B segments and customer engagements while supporting B2B sales and product teams’ agendas.
  • Thrives in ambiguity while being highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about designing and implementing processes to keep partners on track and grow a global business.
  • Is hyper-focused on action with results and uses this lens every day to assess their own performance.
  • Is able to craft a compelling narrative around a business problem and explain complex, technical features in words that anyone can understand.
  • Possess the writing skills to articulate benefits effectively to customers and the presentation chops to persuade internally.
  • Has a proven track record in influencing, taking to market, and driving adoption for product offerings in medium- or large-sized business customers, preferably in SaaS environments.
  • Is able to prioritize tasks from a business point of view and make data-driven decisions to keep the product successful through each stage in its development lifecycle.
  • Is able to run sales-enablement motions that lead to well-supported Sales and Customer Success teams and result in winning customers and growing B2B revenue.

Support for you, professionally and personally

  • Professional growth: We believe that autonomy and trust are key to empowering our team members to do their best, most innovative work in a way that aligns with their interests, talents, and well-being. We also support professional development and advancement with training, coaching, and regular feedback.
  • A connected team: Grammarly builds a product that helps people connect, and we apply this mindset to our own team. Our remote-first hybrid model enables a highly collaborative culture supported by our EAGER (ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable) values. We work to foster belonging among team members in a variety of ways. This includes our employee resource groups, Grammarly Circles, which promote connection among those with shared identities including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ team members, women, and parents. We also celebrate our colleagues and accomplishments with global, local, and team-specific programs.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Grammarly offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package encompassing excellent health care (including mental health and fertility benefits) and ample and defined time off. We also offer support to set up a home office, caregiver and pet care stipends, wellness stipends, 401(k) matching (US only), admission discounts, learning and development opportunities, and more.
  • For New York City–based employment: Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, meaning pay may vary depending on your location. Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our compensation packages include equity; a wide range of medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance options; retirement benefits; and parental leave. We offer twenty days of paid time off per year (global), eleven days of paid holidays per year (US and Canada), and unlimited sick days (global).
