Position Overview

Apollo is looking for a highly strategic and collaborative end-to-end product marketing expert to build out additional product offerings.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape product strategy and expand Apollo’s offering. The right candidate will thrive at gathering data to understand market dynamics and customer needs and enjoy partnering closely with Product, Research, Marketing, and Sales to shape roadmap and drive GTM campaigns that deliver impact. 

Your mandate - 

  • Conduct market research, run competitive analyses, and gather customer insights
  • Build out our understanding of our personas
  • Shape product strategy and work hand in hand with product to prioritize the roadmap
  • Develop a beta program to test early product with customers

This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with R&D and GTM partners. This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing. This role is fully remote (but must be based in North America) and will require occasional travel. 

Responsibilities:

  • Shape Apollo’s product strategy as we expand our offering to new personas
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry analysis
  • Gather customer insights, partnering closely with research
  • Build out Apollo’s core personas
  • Work hand in hand with product to shape and build out the roadmap
  • Test new early offerings with beta customers
  • Launch product and run GTM campaigns
  • Enable Sales and GTM teams

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience at a high-growth b2b SaaS company
  • Industry experience in rev tech is a huge plus
  • Experience with sales or marketing personas is a plus
  • Strong product strategy chops - experience leveraging customer insights to make informed recommendations that shape product direction
  • Ability to deliver actionable data-driven recommendations
  • Deep customer-centricity - appreciation for customer insights with experience running research efforts and delivering actionable recommendations
  • Experience running complex integrated GTM motions partnering well across marketing and sales teams
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration - great at working across many teams
  • Bias toward action. Strong ability to get things done and move things forward
