About the role:

We are hiring a Growth Product Manager to join the Revenue & Growth team working on web user acquisition, funnel optimization, and subscription strategy.

You'll work closely with the design, engineer, data, and marketing team members to learn quickly, ship quickly, and build scalable infrastructure to support long-term growth.  

This position is located in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days/week in office.

You will:

  • Own the web acquisition funnel, introducing new users to Babbel and helping them discover the right learning plan for their needs

  • Support both organic and paid marketing efforts through funnel customization and segmentation

  • Focus on the outcome: translating company objectives into concrete team KPIs, and executing on user acquisition initiatives

  • Work closely with engineering, creative, and marketing colleagues to prioritize opportunities, define experiments, create prototypes, and implement solutions

  • Build strong partnership and collaboration with key product functions (Engineering, Data Analytics, Creative) to discover, test, and release each feature

  • Maintain and refine a product backlog, while working together with the Senior Product Manager to continuously improve the team's way of working

You have:

  • 3+ years experience in product management, ideally working on web technologies

  • A track record of delivering business value

  • Experience in personalization and user segmentation

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

  • Experience with A/B testing and CRO (specifically around user acquisition)

  • An ability to translate ambiguous business goals into technical requirements for engineers

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in user acquisition and/or funnel optimization

  • Experience growing B2C subscription business

  • Working knowledge of pricing strategy

Salary Information:

  • In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary for this role is $100,000-$115,000 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
