Product Marketing connects Depop’s product magic with the needs of our current and future audience by leading on the discovery and go-to-market for new features and propositions. Product Marketing sits at the intersection of product and marketing to ensure the features Depop designs, builds and ships are positioned and rolled out in ways that meet the needs of our community. 

The Group Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting the Product Marketing team up for success and managing a team of Product Marketing Managers. As a Group Manager you will be responsible for setting the team vision, strategy and focus areas, and making sure the team is working on impactful streams of work. You’ll also build strong relationships with leaders from across the business, and find ways for the team to deliver compelling strategies that produce business results. If you are someone that enjoys solving customer problems and delivering exciting new products, whilst also championing and managing a Product Marketing team then this is the role for you. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Product Marketing team vision, strategy and focus areas.
• Coaches and manages a team of Product Marketing Managers; ensuring each team member has an opportunity to grow through impactful streams of work and clear career development plans.
• Identifies opportunities for the Product Marketing team to deliver impact by partnering closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing leadership and their teams. 
• Champions the Product Marketing team and enables its impact internally by ensuring clear prioritisation, alignment and removal of any blockers. 
• Leads strategic planning by partnering with teams to develop and deploy annual and quarterly plans aligned to the company’s strategic goals.
• Puts in place the processes for the team to succeed and deliver compelling go-to-market strategies that deliver business impact.
• Represents and reports on Product Marketing priorities and impact across the business. 

Qualifications/ Requirements

• +8 years Product Marketing experience, with significant experience delivering direct-to-consumer products and propositions.
• Experience delivering impact across the whole product development lifecycle in a Product Marketing role - you have an excellent understanding of product ways of working and how Product Marketing best delivers value to the business.
• A track record of building, leading and directly managing a high-performing team. 
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - you have experience effectively aligning a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, on unknown opportunities.
• Based in the UK or US (East Coast).

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working in consumer tech or a two-sided marketplace business.
