Job Description

We are looking for a high impact Group Product Manager to build product experiences that enable and empower our marketers with the right tools and capabilities to efficiently complete Etsy’s strategic goals.

We are looking for a high impact Group Product Manager to build product experiences that enable and empower our marketers with the right tools and capabilities to efficiently complete Etsy’s strategic goals.

As the Group Product manager you will be responsible for leading the product roadmap that cuts across our Growth channels. You’ll shape the roadmap and craft experiences to transform products that will drive cost reduction, increase speed to market, and improve the user experience for our customers. As the marketing technology landscape evolves, we need to give our marketers the tools and guidance to remain competitive so that we can focus on what matters most, our customers. This is a full-time position and will be located in Brooklyn, NY. Etsy offers three different work modes to meet the variety of needs and preferences of our team: Flex mode for candidates who are comfortable traveling to an office location 2+ times per week, Remote mode, and Office-based mode. In this role you will:

  • Lead the creation of a well-supported product strategy to optimize platforms that support Marketing’s Growth channels, including CRM and Performance Marketing.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Leads and key partners to define a compelling long-term vision.
  • Drive execution and adoption of marketing technology initiatives by collaborating closely with both internal and external partners.
  • Prioritize your roadmap consistently based on customer outcomes and communicate commitments and updates to your customers
  • Build positive relationships with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering to drive marketing technology vision forward.
  • Be responsible for the performance (and measurement) of the team’s product experiences, including impact to the business.
  • Integrate user research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs, as well as wants.
  • Manage and lead a small team of product managers, while also serving as the frontlines product manager for a squad.

Qualifications

Ideally you'll bring:

  • 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years leading initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • 4+ years of working directly with marketing teams.
  • 3+ years of experience leading product managers.
  • Deep expertise in building out a marketing stack that includes data integrations, attribution, personalization, CDPs, MAPs, analytic platforms, and others.
  • Experience in crafting strategy that enables the delivery and adoption of products that use data and machine learning
  • Passionate about solving sophisticated user (internal customers) facing problems, developing strategies and roadmaps, and completing plans to benefit our business.
  • Experience collecting and using data to make decisions.
  • Know when and how to balance data with intuition when necessary.
  • Natural collaborator who knows how to drive decision-making and has the ability to influence through informal authority.
  • Strong belief in Etsy’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Inspiring, engaging and clear communication style. By knowing your audience, you communicate thoughtfully across teams including Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Research, Legal, and Etsy leadership.
  • Experience working in a two-sided marketplace and/or ecommerce.
