Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. This role is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing FinTech companies, helping millions more potential customers save money by using Wise! 🚀

The projected start date for this role is April 02, 2023. This is a hybrid position located in Austin, Texas and is NOT fully remote.

Your mission:

A Global Products Operations Specialists’ mission is to support Product Teams as a representative of the Payment Operations organisation – to ensure that new and current products, features and processes scale efficiently. We are looking for a Specialist to join our Global Product Operations team to support Wise Platform expansion in the Americas.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to Global Products Operations (GPO) team:

  • Provide daily support to regional Payment Operations Teams for the Wise Platform, which helps financial institutions and businesses access and offer Wise services using our API
  • Work with product managers and developers of multiple product teams to find solutions and opportunities for process optimization of the Payment Operations flow
  • Coordinate new products/partners set-up, testing, and launch as a liaison from the operational side
  • Collaborate with various other teams in Wise - from Finance to Compliance
  • Own training, communication, and documentation of Wise Platform

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be a pioneer! - You’ll be one of the first members of the Global Products Operations team in the Americas, helping out with team establishment in the Americas
  • Challenge Yourself – You’ll be working with teams that face complex situations. You get the chance to question the norm and drive to make things happen instead of wondering why things happened. Through that, you can learn more about yourself and what you are capable of when given the right tools and mentoring
  • Inspire Teams – You’ll fuel the revolution with your ideas, knowledge, self-starter attitude, and customer insight, which you’ll use to work with product development engineers and other operational teams to help solve our customer’s problems!
  • Work Globally – You’ll work closely with internal and external partners, both in the Americas and abroad, and help to figure out ways to make our customers’ lives better

A bit about you:

  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills
  • You know how to use data to prioritize tasks that have the most impact to customers
  • You place customers first and you make no compromise on this
  • You are accurate and pay attention to detail
  • You get things done and concentrate on finding solutions for blockers
  • You thrive in fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • You are confident in working autonomously and taking charge on projects when needed
  • You are a clear and honest communicator, persuasive and adaptive to different audiences
  • You are comfortable with feedback and being part of a team where ideas are shared and openness is valued
  • You are proactive and a great relationship builder
  • You are flexible with your work hours. We aim to help our global customers any time they need it
  • Must already be legally authorized to work in the US, we cannot provide Visa support for this role
  • This is NOT a remote position, this is a hybrid position located in Austin, Texas - where we currently have a co-working space in North Austin

Some extra skills that would be great:

  • You have relevant experience working in operations, leading cross functional projects that drive efficiency and scaling of manual work - Project management experience is required
  • Previous experience in North American FinTech or Banking is a bonus
  • You have a fair understanding of the world of OKRs (Objective & Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Key benefits:

  • 💰 $26.50-$31.00 per hour starting salary, based on experience
  • 🚀 RSU's in a rapidly growing company
  • 💪 An annual self-development budget
  • 🩺 Medical, dental, & vision insurance – including HSA and FSA options
  • 💝 Company-paid: Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability, and an EAP program
