Credit Karma is building our Product Operations practice from the ground up. The Recommendations Product team is looking for an experienced Product Operations Manager to help scale personalization across the Credit Karma ecosystem.

As a founding member of this team, you will act like a co-founder in building this function with our General Manager of Recommendations: plan for scale from the start, improve all the teams you work with, and identify operational growth opportunities as you learn more about the business. You will build processes and strategy to grow personalization products across all product lines at Credit Karma. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, data science, engineering, and other cross functional leaders to refine systems, remove roadblocks, align incentives, and lead the adoption of personalization initiatives. You will report to the General Manager of Recommendations, and you will measure your impact in improved engagement metrics and revenue growth attributed to personalization applications.

What You'll do:

  • Product scaling: Build programs to increase personalization across the Credit Karma ecosystem
  • You will build operating models and use internal teams to increase adoption across all stages of product life cycles across all vertical businesses
  • You will develop frameworks to measure the impact of existing personalization programs across several vertical and functional areas at scale
  • You will build connections with relevant subject matter experts across the company to surface insights, to get them excited about what your team is building, and to pave the way for smoother future rollouts
  • Identify and act upon additional business and operational opportunities as they arise
  • Product insights: Provide relevant insights from Credit Karma and our broader ecosystem to development & launch teams on opportunities
  • Quantify and prioritize product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development
  • Uplevel the understanding of how the product is being used in the real world to uncover future business opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Product planning: drive strategic planning process and communications on progress against goals, including complex programs that may span multiple vertical or functional areas

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Product teams in product operations, product or or an operational role that worked with product and engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience autonomously driving large-scale cross functional programs across multiple teams
  • Experience managing internal partner relationships at all levels
  • You have an operational background, project management skills, and leading complex programs inside scaling organizations
  • Experienced at driving sweeping process improvements across multiple teams, and can anticipate potential blockers and navigate them
  • Data-driven with SQL experience that crafts solutions using people, process, and technology
