About the job

Twilio is looking for a Product Manager to join the Voice Connectivity product team of our Communications business unit. This position is needed to work with an engineering team and strategic business development team, and routing operations team, to build and operate an accurate voice costing pipeline, that enables dynamic routing of voice calls across 220 countries/territories, that delivers best-in-class quality and also enables for more dynamic pricing.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Responsible for the integrity (accuracy and completeness) of the voice product costing data which is determined by hundreds of underlying suppliers that Twilio depends on to enable business to consumer voice calls.
  • Build a world-class tooling for the voice operations team.
  • Manage the business with a data-driven mindset. Use tools such as Looker and run SQL or Kibana queries to find insight.
  • Partner with Pricing Strategy and Pricing Operations to determine the pricing and packaging for Twilio’s global voice connectivity products.

We may consider a candidate with less product experience if they have more data experience.

Required:

  • Education in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, data science or similar. 
  • Experience writing requirements for a software feature or solution for an internal or external customer.
  • Demonstrated experience working with big data sets and using tools such as writing SQL queries, sheets, or similar.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding and will roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Desired:

  • Experience independently testing hypotheses and quantifying expected impact by querying internal data sets.
  • Experience or Interest in understanding distributed systems (cloud-scale) architectures.
  • Experience working in an agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams and customers.
  • Experience working with direct sales, marketing, and defining pricing/packaging.

Location 

This role will be based in Tallinn or remotely in Estonia. 

Approximately, 5% (1x per quarter travel, possibly to US) is anticipated.
