Sr. Product Manager, Core

About the Team

Our core product is the Pharmacy Management System that we built from ground up. This system enables us to process and dispense prescriptions in an automated manner and at massive scale. Our job is to enable Alto to achieve massive scale while becoming profitable, by building superior productivity and efficiency for our pharmaceutical and fulfillment operations teams. 

About the Role

As the Senior Product Manager for Core experience, you will work with our engineers, designers and data scientists on strategic initiatives to automate prescription intake, pharmaceutical data checks, insurance processing and billing, and delivery scheduling. Your work will enable pharmacists, technicians, and fulfillment teams to work more efficiently, while increasing the quality of services that patients receive. 

Accelerate your Career as You:

• Partner with engineering, design, data science, product managers, and other cross-functional teams across the Alto ecosystem to build end-to-end efficient care and delivery flow for our pharmacists, technicians, and fulfillment teams. 

• Identify emerging technology and define vision, strategy, and product roadmap for Core Experience 

• Drive the end-to-end development process: from early research, to uncovering opportunities, to validating hypotheses through constant iteration and experimentation

• Encourage and embrace a culture of experimentation, learning, and a growth mindset, never settling for the status quo and constantly innovating

• Deeply understand users’ pain points (patients, providers, pharmacists, and technicians) and Alto’s business goals, in order to prioritize product investments to drive the highest impact. 

A Bit about You:

Required experience:

• You have an owner’s mindset - entrepreneurial, driven, passionate about our mission, and have deep empathy for our customers

• You have a proven track record of successful product launches, distilling complex requirements into simple workflows

• You have 3 - 5+ years experience in product management

• You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members up to and including the executive-level

• You have superior written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating cross functionally with stakeholders and other partners

Extra Points: 

• You have previous experience building products in the area of healthcare, health, telemedicine, or e-commerce 

• You have a technical or analytical background, MBA or equivalent work experience 

• You have startup and entrepreneurial experience
