UXR is part of the WeTransfer Product team. This team is responsible for building on the success of our widely beloved file delivery service used by hundreds of millions of people each year. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting stage of new development as we build the next evolution of our service. The Transfer product is the highest impact product for our business.

What you'll be working on

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our product strategy at a critical phase, laying down the foundation for our next chapter of growth.
You'll be using your talent and experience to help shape our Pro and Premium proposition: one subscription where creatives can enjoy the perks of Collect, Paste and Transfer together. Your work has a high impact on the PM’s backlogs.
At WeTransfer we’ve created a habit of planning for discovery research. You’ll explore new and undiscovered territories and present product or feature ideas to our leadership team.
You’ll be working closely with peers from many different disciplines, ranging from Analytics to Product Marketing, Product Design, Product Management, and more.
You’ll help bring UXR at WeTransfer to the next level, we are always looking into ways to innovate our processes and you’ll be on the forefront of these initiatives.
You’ll be part of the creative community and enjoy a collaborative and dynamic environment, where you can be proactive, don’t have to be afraid to put your foot down when needed and can feel comfortable empowering, educating and challenging teams.

What we’re looking for

5+ years of relevant research experience in a digital product organisation. You master different research methodologies and are comfortable doing both qualitative and quantitative research.
You have a degree in psychology, design, HCI, innovation, or a related field.
You're comfortable doing generative and explorative work, potentially leading up to new opportunities with product-market fit.
You can work independently and feel comfortable and confident to lead projects on your own.
You have a respected point of view on design and user experience. Although your focus is on understanding problems, you have developed a strong sense for what an outstanding user experience entails. You easily spot a mediocre design solution.
You’re self critical and even though you master many methodologies, you know when (not) to apply what type of research.
You’re comfortable with different research tools and/or are eager to learn them. You continually think about ways to improve the work, and enjoy trying new methods and tools.
You can collect bonus points having experience in market research and/or data analytics.

A note on remote

Covid has changed the world. Just as much as it changed us. While we can't wait until offices re-open, being at the office will not be mandatory in the future. This way, you get the best from both worlds. That move is still pretty new for us though, we are getting there, we are writing more, doing more async communication, and are now ready to take it to the next level.
