Senior Technical Product Manager- IaaS

Toast’s Foundation Product Team is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager who will manage our IaaS offerings to our internal teams to build platforms and services on top that run all of Toast Saas products in the cloud. This is a critical role that enables our company to scale fast and securely while providing a seamless experience for our engineers across the company.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Develop and execute the product strategy for our cloud IAAS technology offerings aligning it with the company’s overall cloud strategy and market trends
• Conduct market research and gather internal customer feedback to identify emerging trends and opportunities to provide the best solutions and processes for our engineers.
• Define product requirements and specifications based on market research and customer insights and advocate for customer-centric product enhancements
• Evaluate vendor solutions where appropriate to help provide key functionality
• Create training and support materials to support customer use cases and best practices
• Define and track key product metrics and gather customer feedback to evaluate product fit.
• Stay informed about industry trends, standards and emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure, networking and related technologies.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering 
• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, preferable in the Iaas or Cloud services industry 
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and in particular, networking technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and inspire teams
