🌟 Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a product marketing manager who can create a strategy to define the story and position of our product, and bring that messaging to our customers.

You will have the opportunity to not only set the marketing strategy, but to also play a strong role in shaping the company strategy. This is a great fit for someone who wants to step outside of their lane and see what it's like to scale a fast growing startup.

🛠 Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Have a passion for founders and startups - This is the most important. We're looking for someone who's obsessed with building for founders. We believe this matters because we believe folks do their best work when they're most excited about the domain. Users sniff authenticity and a marketing leader with the ability to speak the language of our founder is critical for this role.

  • Define and hit goals - Qualified leads ultimately measure success. Our team follows the principle of the score takes care of itself. Focus on the inputs to deliver the outcomes.

  • Strong written communication - You have a knack for explaining complicated technical concepts in a way that everyday people can understand. You have deep empathy for users and can adapt how you communicate to reach different user segments, from founders to employees to lawyers and investors.

  • Zooms in & Zooms out - Setting the right product positioning is hard because you need to distill feedback from hundreds of customer interviews into five words on a website. We're looking for a PMM who can zoom out (understand the broader company goals with the product line) and zooms in (turn that high level goal into a well crafted message).

  • Leverage marketing as a force multiplier - Pair with the sales team to create assets to improve conversion. Pair with the customer success team to find moments of delight for customers to drive retention and NRR.

🙌 Qualifications & Fit

  • 4+ years of work experience in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Experience in B2B product marketing throughout a product's lifecycle

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results

🗒️ Interview

We kick off the interview with a screening call with team. Assuming the call goes well, we give candidates two options when interviewing (our team has no preference between the options):

  • Prompt walkthrough - work on a prompt that emphasizes your past experience. You'll walk through the prompt with members of our team via Zoom.

  • Contract with Pulley - work with our team for a week or two. We will compensate you for your time. We give candidates this option because it allows you to see what it's like to work with us. We believe interviewing should be a two way street - see if Pulley is a good fit for your skills at the same time that we evaluate your skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$165,000 + equity + benefits.
