Senior Product Designer - Product Platform (m/f/d) - Location: Munich; Dublin; Madrid; Amsterdam or Remote

Our Product Platform domain is fulfilling this purpose by building out the platform strategy for Personio’s product. We are a rapidly growing, enablement-focused domain that strives to create secure, reusable, and extensible systems that accelerate the ability of our internal teams to create customer value, at scale. 

Furthermore, Product Platform plays a pivotal role in delivering the tooling, components, templates and standards that establish the foundations of a common Personio UI platform; ultimately providing Personio’s customers with a consistent, accessible and delightful product experience.

To support our mission, we are looking for a Senior Product Designer that is passionate about solving complex problems and has experience of doing so through a more systematic approach. As a successful candidate you will help define the global capabilities and experiences that support our overarching design vision and enable other domains to deliver a best in class HR solution.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Be part of a mission-based multidisciplinary team, working side-by-side with Product Managers and Engineers

• Act as a key contributor to our product development process by driving design projects from concept to delivery - with a strong focus on the early stages of the design process (discovery and research).

• Creating holistic user experiences to meet customer and business needs

• Creating rapid prototypes for testing and stakeholder review 

• Partnering up with UX Research team to drive discovery

• Partnering up with UX Writing team to create structured and meaningful content

• Facilitating co-creation sessions with wider team members and stakeholders

• Delivering project specifications and supporting implementation

• Contributing to and advocating for our Design System

• You have at least 5 years of experience in designing web-based applications, ideally in a SaaS environment

• You have a portfolio that demonstrates your experience with digital products

• You understand how people interact with digital products, their cognitive biases and industry established interaction patterns

• You have a strong understanding of visual design and attention to detail. Experience with data visualization is a plus. 

• You have the ability to iterate quickly through the use of low and high fidelity prototypes

• You have a good understanding of Information Architecture (IA)

• You seek regular feedback for continuous improvement (growth mindset)

• You have significant mentorship experience 

• You are fluent in English
