As a Senior Product Designer at Material Security, you’ll lead the user experience for major parts of Material’s product roadmap. You’ll shape design at Material by artfully balancing customer-focused functionality and design expression.
You are a talented ideator that thinks beyond conventional solutions, and you love to focus on the most minute details. You lead with empathy and support your teammates with encouragement and feedback. Your mission is to deliver massive customer and business value by shipping striking, elegant, and helpful user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design product experiences, interfaces, flows, and layouts
- Extend our growing design system with new primitives, patterns, and principles
- Collaborate with the product team to ship customer-focused solutions
- Collaborate with the engineering team to refine and ship artful design details
- Bring curiosity, positivity, and an entrepreneurial attitude to each day
What We’re Looking For
- Experience shipping designs at startups or small teams in partnership with product
- An extensive portfolio of product design work that shows mastery of design tools
- Experience providing feedback to, and/or mentoring creative colleagues
- You enjoy digging into front-end code and/or working closely with engineering
