Responsibilities

Able to work with UX, Product, and Marketing cross-functional team members to develop content that ensures seamless user experiences that reflect the client brand, values, tone, and prioritize the customer experience.
Write UX copy for projects that communicates complex product features and benefits in clear language to help customers understand and use client's products and services.
Be a champion for the customer and work to find the happy medium between business goals and customer needs.
Analyze research and develop content that addresses identified user needs or adapt existing content based on user feedback.
Guides the development and optimization of content to achieve specific goals and address customer needs.
Identify and champion the most efficient content workflows possible.
Organize existing content, create guidelines for future content, and ensure that all content aligns across channels.
Audit content to identify strengths and weaknesses in order to optimize content strategy and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Psychology or related field
5+ years of experience in an agency or corporate environment, with formal copy training and a strong portfolio
Experience collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to write, edit, develop, or plan online and retail written content
Background in copywriting, either at an agency or in-house
Strong grammar and editing abilities
Background in working through ambiguity and executing complex projects
Previous experience in user experience, product, technology, or digital function preferred
Ability to balance design quality with business and customer needs
