Senior Communication Designer / Performance Marketing - Barcelona or Remote

As Sr. Comms Designer for Performance Marketing (m/f/d) you will be part of the FREE NOW central Design team reporting to the Lead of Communication design.

As a team you will be responsible for taking the FREE NOW brand to new heights in all relevant Digital Media channels, building awareness and reinforcing our market leadership position in Europe.

You will be working in close collaboration with the central Digital Marketing team developing and analysing high performing creative assets. Aside from that you will support and steer other Designers on generating lighthouse content within the digital environment.

Your Role: 

• Plan, storyboard, illustrate and produce animated content for various digital formats.
• Partner with the Digital Marketing team to plan ahead, identifying and executing digital needs. 
• Partner with the Digital Marketing team to understand digital marketing best practices across all digital platforms, and bring in inspiration from other brands and advertisers.
• Set up and execute design driven tests to increase overall performance and develop a strong knowledge base, constantly learning and optimising our creative assets.
• Apply current industry best practice production techniques, ensuring that our animation and illustration approaches are efficient and maximize creative potential
• Stay on top of broader industry trends in design, illustration and animation.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and collaboration to take digital design to the next level in terms of impact, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage and prioritize digital design projects to ensure on-time, on-budget and on-strategy delivery.

Your Profile:

• A dynamic portfolio showcasing strengths in typography, design, motion, visual storytelling, campaign concept creation, and art direction across all mediums
• Expertise in performance driven digital marketing campaigns
• Exceptional design aesthetic
• Creative Testing experience
• Good understanding of style guides
• Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to accept new responsibilities and respond positively to instructions and creative direction
• Ability to provide quick decisive feedback
