The Role ?‍?

Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever.

As Product Operations Manager, your goal is to ensure that our product teams have the practices, tools, and resources needed in place to quickly build quality products at scale. In this role, the practices and tools are the product and the product team are the users. You are responsible for iterating and optimizing that product based on the users’ needs.

What you'll do…

Advocate and champion the adoption of core product best practices.

Establish core practices and select tools that will become the foundation for the product team’s work.
Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs, propose and iterate on solutions.

Streamline systems and workflows for collecting inputs to guide planning & prioritization.

Propose and implement solutions to help the product team make data informed decisions.
Manage product feedback and ensure it is shared with the right teams.
Monitor and analyze metrics to identify gaps and problem areas.

Support and improve product communication within the product team and across the company.

Design standardized templates and resources for the product team, with scaling in mind.
Help facilitate enablement & product adoption by collaborating on the creation of training materials in text and video.

What we're looking for ?

Experience working as Product Manager, preferably at a high growth startup.
Understanding of the agile mindset and best practices.
A passion for building a highly functioning product organization.
An understanding of the need for organization & structure while knowing when it is enough.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate through writing and video.
Experience with implementing new tools across an organization.
Some experience working with international teams and a desire for remote work.

You'll also need...
