THE TEAM

The Product Operations team is charged with increasing the ROI from our product investments by driving strategic alignment and operational excellence. We do this within Product, Engineering, and Design, and in partnership with other functions. Our scope spans the product life cycle, from planning through standard dev processes to GTM, with the vision of instilling more consistent alignment, coordination, user empathy, value delivery, and accountability at every step.

THE ROLE

  • As a Product Operations Manager you will be focused on driving efficiency and bringing operational rigor to one or more Product Teams as an embedded partner. You will:
  • Help to manage and update product deliverables, roadmaps, and OKRs
  • Be a key driver in maintaining roadmaps and building status updates
  • Facilitate key operational cadences and product ceremonies to ensure productive outcomes, documenting and following up on action items when needed
  • Maintain a consistent channel of communication between Product, Engineering, Design, Product Operations, Product Marketing, Commercial teams, Integrity Policy & Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure alignment and visibility into the Ads Roadmap.
  • Be a trusted partner to the Product Management team, including Product Leadership, acting as an advisor and as their product operations point of contact
  • Roll up your sleeves to identify, design and implement new processes amongst product managers, product leadership, and key cross-functional partners
  • You’ll play a critical role in funneling and amplifying the feedback from our customer teams, with the responsibility of owning and operationalizing programs and processes that build alignment between the Product and Customer orgs, ultimately driving value for our customers
  • How we create and implement systems to gather customer input during design and development, and how we escalate and manage customer issues after releases. To make maximum impact, you’ll partner closely with Sales & Customer Success, PMs, Integrity Policy & Operations, Researchers and the rest of the Product Operations team.
  • Work in closely with Product Operations teams focused on Launch Operations and Strategic Planning

THE SKILL SET

  • 4+ years in product operations, product management, and/or program management roles
  • Proven operations professional with experience working cross-functionally and removing roadblocks in complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and implementing new processes
  • Mastery in creating effective structure out of ambiguity
  • Strong prioritization and focus, including comfort making tradeoffs with incomplete information
  • Highly collaborative with superb project management, attention to detail, and ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to confidently and credibly direct and influence stakeholders of multiple seniority levels, including executives
  • Fluency with Eventbrite’s product and the nuances that impact different customer sets
  • Passion for high quality products and deep empathy for the impact of product changes on event creators
  • Experience building data-driven cases for feature prioritization and ability to think critically and strategically when making tradeoffs
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Great relationships with Eventbrite’s customer-facing and product/dev teams
  • A demonstrated track record of creating effective structure out of ambiguity, including new program creation
