At Vantage, we're passionate about building a cloud cost transparency platform that helps enable everyone – from developers to enterprises – analyze, report, collaborate on and optimize their cloud infrastructure costs.Both our CEO (who is a repeat founder) and CTO are passionate about cloud infrastructure. Having worked together at DigitalOcean, they are taking their combined knowledge to build and scale the Vantage platform.Together we are a small but hard working team of ~25 employees based out of New York City (but embrace the remote-friendly lifestyle).

About the Role
Vantage’s customer base is growing and, as a result, we’re looking to hire our first Product Marketing Manager. The Vantage marketing team is responsible for increasing top-of-funnel web visitors, users, and MQLs for both self-service customers and our enterprise sales team. As our first Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for translating our rapid cadence of product launches into easily understandable and attractive content that drives usage of new features and enterprise interest. You’ll work with our existing marketing and design teams to further Vantage’s brand of rigorous technical excellence and best in class design. You’ll have a strong say in naming features, selecting their top value propositions, and positioning them in the market.
What You Will Do:
Be the single-threaded leader for product marketing: including planning & writing monthly product emails to our user base of tens of thousands of customers.
Support product launches by finalizing content and staging design assets for blog posts. Here are a few examples:

Create and update website pages for features by distilling detailed technical writeups into punchy H2s with accompanying graphics, https://www.vantage.sh/features/segments
Coordinate product launches across multiple social channels and internally while laying out expected results from product launches and what support is needed from the rest of our team for success
Create product documentation which gives in-depth technical descriptions of features, including setup, product flow and edge cases, https://docs.vantage.sh/per_unit_costs
Work with key customers to create case studies of Vantage that demonstrate the use cases and results our customers have achieved, with an emphasis on enterprise FinOps workflows
Analyze and understand how existing users are getting value out of Vantage through a combination of product analytics, user interviews, and sales calls and present product recommendations to the team
Who You Are
5+ years of developer-focused, industry marketing experience - ideally with B2B SaaS.
A strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to cater & market to a specific audience, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering/Infrastructure, and DevOps professionals
Ability to manage a wide portfolio of accounts from SMB up to large enterprise corporate accounts
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers

Nice to Have
Able to create simple graphics which look nice in Figma, typically by modifying existing, more complex designs.
Familiar with HTML and CSS, with an understanding of what good web layout looks and feels like
Familiar with cloud infrastructure as an industry, including terminology, major players, key workflows, jobs to be done and what roles fulfill them, etc so that you can successfully tailor our messaging to the right audience of users
Strong written communication skills, particularly when it comes to writing for the web and for social media
