Hey 👋 I’m Kristin, the Head of Marketing at Pinpoint. We’re a high-growth, bootstrapped HR-tech start-up building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent.

We operate in a congested space, but we feel like the vast majority of organisations across the globe aren't recruiting well (at all!), and that nobody has built recruitment software good enough to really make a dent in that problem yet. We're doing what we can to solve that, and while we're just getting started, it's going pretty well so far.

Today, we have a strong marketing foundation in place, with a mature product, 100%+ growth per year, strong product-market fit, and happy customers. But to hit our next set of goals, we need to build on that foundation. So we’re growing the team.

About the Role:

Main Objectives
We’re looking for a hybrid Product Marketer & Content Marketer who will create compelling content to tell the story of our product, create & capture demand, and make us the default choice for buyers in our industry.

Ideally, you’ll be both a strategist and a writer, who can tell us what content we should be creating, build the plan, and get it made.

Key Outcomes
  • Become an expert in our audience, our product, and our industry. Use your expertise to shape the messaging and content strategy we need to meet our goals.
  • Take the lead on creating blog posts, social media, web pages, videos, Sales decks, and whatever else you think we need.
  • Create product-led content that shows how our product features and platform data can solve real problems for our audience.
  • Regularly interview industry experts, internal team members, and our customers to get insights and input for your content—or adapt the interview itself into videos or podcast episodes.
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing and Sales to create messaging & content for segmented campaigns targeting specific personas among our audience.
A few details that might make you say “hell yeah” or “hell no”
  • You'll be our only product marketer so we won't have a playbook waiting for you. You'll need to know how to get stuff done, make good decisions, and learn fast.
  • We’re sales-led, not product-led. This is a role focused on content and sales enablement.
  • This is an extremely crowded space and we have to be 1% more creative than our competitors. We cannot succeed by doing the same things everyone else is doing.
  • This is primarily a remote role. Our HQ is in Jersey, UK but we built the company to be remote-first and have a distributed remote team across the UK and US.

About You:

  • You write like you speak. Even when writing about complex topics.
  • You’re a skilled storyteller who can write in a variety of formats—from longform blog posts, to short form copywriting, to slide decks and video scripts.
  • You have experience interviewing people and cultivating sources. You’ll enjoy engaging with our broader industry of recruiters and HR leaders.
  • Ideally you’ll also have some experience in podcasting, video, and/or graphic design, and be able to plan and execute content in these formats with the help of freelancers if needed.
  • You have strong opinions about what good marketing looks like. You create B2B content people actually want to read.
  • You're based in the UK or East Coast of US/Canada.

We'll expect a lot from you, but in return you'll:

  • Grow your career, fast.
  • Work with people who care about quality and speed in equal measure.
  • Make a meaningful, measurable contribution to the revenue number (and make a real life impact on how companies hire).
  • Be part of a business where everyone understands the value of marketing.
  • Get the support you need to do a great job (MacBook Pro, the software you need, professional development budget, regular 1:1s, etc).
  • Paid travel to meet up with your colleagues a few times per year.
  • Get access to senior managers across the business, whenever you want.
  • Have unlimited holidays (minimum requirement of 21 days per year).
  • Be able to work where and when you want (as long as you’re getting the job done).
  • Get top of the line healthcare for you and your family.
  • Get a meaningful equity allocation.
