Product organization at ManoMano is divided into 5 Gears (Mega-Teams)
SELLERS: Provide the best experience to our sellers to grow their business (main KPI: seller revenues)
COMMERCE: Help customer discover what they need (Main KPI : add to cart rate)
PROJECT & SERVICES: Help the customer to set up his own project with advice. We will propose some new services dedicated to DIY
BUYERS: Offer the most seamless and reassuring buying (main KPI: NPS and Funnel Conversion Rate)
BtoB: Transform the DIY marketplace to help construction entrepreneur to run their business (main KPI: B2B repurchase rate)
→ The open position of Intern Product Manager Payments in the Buyers team.
Your Product Management role at ManoMano
As Product Manager Apprentice, Intern or Stagiare for Payments, you will learn from and support Veronika, the Product Manager for the Payments Platform at ManoMano. You will have the opportunity to experience first hand the action of processing more than 1,2B€ (yes, that’s billions of euros and it was our 2020 volume).
Your main missions:
You will participate in the various phases of the Payments Platform product life cycle. Veronika, the Product Manager, will be your mentor and you will support her to achieve the goals of her feature team working hand in hand with Engineering, Business Stakeholders, Design, Quality and the rest of the Product Team.
If you want to learn about FinTech, Payments and Product Management in a unicorn and scaleup, this will be the right internship for you.
1. Product discovery:
Discover, analyze and understand our customers pain points and unmet needs, thanks to different tools and methodologies and working with User Research or Country Managers.
2. Product testing & delivery:
Translate requirements and needs into well-defined user stories, product specifications or bug tickets. You will learn and participate in the agile rituals of the team plus the Agile at scale framework of ManoMano.
3. Product Data:
Understand user behavior by looking at different sources of data, notably Amplitude, Google Analytics, Datadog or Stripe
4. Product Communication:
You will learn how to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to your stakeholders and also how to communicate with Engineering Teams efficiently.
Expected profile :
Education: You are a student. We embrace diversity and inclusion so we are open to any career you have chosen.
Communication: You can communicate effectively in English and French. You can listen and synthesize efficiently.
Curious: Even if you do not really know what happens when you enter your card number online, you are curious about FinTech in general and would like to learn more about it.
Analytical mindset: You are comfortable analyzing data in Google sheets and you master pivot tables.
Product savvy: You are capable of explaining the key feature that a financial app is missing and most importantly, why it would make a difference.
Soft skills: You have developed empathy, you are kind, thoughtful and diligent.
Bonus points:
Payments: You have experience in a payments company or you have integrated a payment processor in a website.
Communication: You have a blog or you have written articles in a blogging platform or you actively communicate in your Twitter account.
E-commerce: You have already worked in an e-commerce company or Marketplace.
DIY: You enjoy DIY, gardening or home improvement and want to profoundly play a role in the reinvention of this market.
