This role will be at the core of WeTransfer growth initiative, you will be working on cross functional programs and building new capabilities that powers the core product as well as will be building new products. You'll accelerate the innovation by developing the core product and platform capabilities that will fuel the growth . You will build new architecture as well as enhance existing one to make it your own. You will be working closely with product , cross functional engineering teams and senior leadership teams.
What you'll be doing
- Nurture a deep understanding of our products, customers, and how the DMX team fits in to provide a foundation for current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and engineers to ideate, develop, launch and maintain products, features and capabilities.
- Assess current gaps in our product, tech stack, and service landscape and work with product management and engineering teams to plan strategic bets.
- Prioritize and manage the roadmap based on a wide range of inputs.
- Evaluate the impact of initiatives your teams ship to developers and customers.
- Conduct user research and market analysis to understand how to best support our product teams.
Qualities we'll be looking for
- Strong acumen and an ability to work closely with engineering partners to devise strategies, solve for complex system interdependencies, build performant and scalable applications with solid roadmaps and priorities.
- Ability to stitch together the big picture on platforms all the way out to the customer, identify cross-functional dependencies, processes and risks.

- Ability to establish a shared vision and priorities across organization
- Deep understanding when it comes to building software services, and experience running those services in a (containerised) cloud environment.
- Comfortable leading and influencing a team without being their direct manager.

A note on remote
Covid has changed the world. Just as much as it changed us. While we can't wait until offices re-open, being at the office will not be mandatory in the future. This way, you get the best from both worlds. That move is still pretty new for us though, we are getting there, we are writing more, doing more async communication, and are now ready to take it to the next level.
