Portals and Reviews
We're looking for a creative product designer to join the team that works on WeTransfer's innovative product area, portals and reviews. We're building up a feature set to help freelancers and studios present their creative work and collect feedback from their clients and collaborators. When so much can get lost in translation, we believe we can help creatives and clients communicate with confidence, precision, and ease.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team which includes product managers, product designers, user research, engineers, customer insights, and more. Our goal is to collaborate with teams across the company to create the future of WeTransfer that stays true to our mantra “beautifully obvious.”
You will:
Collaborate with product managers, user researchers and data analysts to understand the business requirements, user goals, and technical constraints that shape our product. Synthesize these inputs to design elegant, intuitive solutions for our users.
Design flows and features for new products across web and mobile.
Lead the end-to-end design process, from framing the problem, testing your assumptions, prototyping a range of solutions, to launching and measuring success.
Partner with engineers throughout the development lifecycle to deliver high quality, accessible software for our global user base.
Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with other designers and the broader product team
About you:
You have a portfolio that displays strong product and interaction design sensibilities.
You are a “T-shaped” designer who is proficient across the product design discipline (identifying opportunities, sketching and wire-framing concepts, mapping customer journeys and user flows), but you excel at crafting pixels.
Have an inquisitive attitude. You know how to approach complex problems, and should be comfortable with ambiguity and abstraction.
You're skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to stakeholders and look for feedback to help you produce your best work.
You are a self-starter who can work autonomously in our hybrid, globally distributed work environment.
Have 3+ years of relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000 yearly.
