About the Role

Chime is on a mission to provide members with access to innovative, responsible credit-building products. A critical component of this mission is ensuring that our credit reporting and tradeline furnishing processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory and industry standards.

As Lead Product Operations Manager, Credit Furnishing & Bureau Strategy, you will serve as Chime’s primary subject matter expert (SME) on credit reporting, responsible for driving strategy, optimizing operational processes, and deepening relationships with credit bureaus. This high-impact role sits within the Product Operations team in the Product organization, requiring deep expertise in credit bureau engagement, Metro2 formatting, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and data furnishing best practices.

You will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Business Development, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to establish a centralized, proactive bureau strategy. Your role will include identifying opportunities to build or buy the necessary capabilities and infrastructure to enhance Chime’s credit data furnishing processes. This is a highly strategic and operationally complex role that will directly impact Chime’s ability to help members build and improve their credit profiles effectively.

This role is critical to shaping Chime’s long-term credit furnishing strategy and ensuring that our members receive the best possible credit-building experience. By centralizing bureau engagement, optimizing furnishing processes, and identifying opportunities to scale Chime’s capabilities, you will play a key role in strengthening our position in the industry and delivering meaningful credit outcomes for our members.

If you are a credit reporting expert who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative, and impact-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you!

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $157,590 and up to $218,900. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Business Development, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making (SQL, Looker, or other BI tools a plus).
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for building or buying capabilities that optimize Chime’s credit furnishing infrastructure.
