Lead Product Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cadre differentiates itself from other private equity firms because it consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to our internal teams. Our product team works closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to design and develop products that improve access to clean and accurate data on commercial real estate investments. These products enable our Acquisitions team to make decisions on which deals/markets Cadre should be focusing on acquiring. On the Asset Management side, we focus on bringing innovative products to our operators to analyze deal performance and make value-add decisions.

The Supply product team is responsible for building the internal products that support and streamline the acquisition and asset management day-to-day operations. In this role, you will lead the product team responsible for the entire product lifecycle of the asset management database, deal reporting platform, acquisition pipeline management tool, and data science initiatives within our product stack.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead a team of 2-3 Product Managers working across on supply side initiatives: fostering a winning culture 
• Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the portfolio of products that pertain to the supply side of the business
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Business Analysts, global product leads, and the Investments team to streamline and automate the due diligence process.
• Establish shared goals and metrics with cross-company stakeholders.
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases.
• Conduct user/market research and detailed quantitative analysis and apply it to product strategy and planning.
• Lead a development team through every phase of the product process: product discovery, wireframing, testing, development, launch, and optimization.
• Utilize project development tools in order to track, organize and optimize project progress

WHAT YOU HAVE

• 1-2 years' experience leading a product team, ability to coach and mentor product managers.
• 3-5 years of experience managing product development at a technology driven company; experience within financial products considered an asset
• Exposure to data science and machine learning is a plus, but not required
• Experience taking multiple products from inception to launch to iterative improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work well with cross-functional teams as a leader and a collaborator; experience partnering with technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-directed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex organization.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, and business acumen 
• Experience being hands-on with the user experience and technical design processes for a new feature or product, with sound understanding of agile methodology.
