Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performing Growth Product Managers, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation, impact, and collaboration
  • Develop a comprehensive growth strategy and portfolio of investments across the entire lifecycle that will drive Nextdoor’s growth, spanning  acquisition, activation, retention and resurrection of neighbors on the platform

  • Champion a data-driven, hypothesis-based rapid experimentation driven culture

  • Be an advocate for the customer - our neighbors - understanding their needs and behaviors, and translating these into product improvements and innovations
  • Obsess over the operational excellence of the key growth product areas, from understanding the funnels, proactively managing key metrics, and actively searching for new growth opportunities

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • A solid mix of 7+ years of Product Management experience and pattern-matching at the intersection of consumer-oriented platforms and growth
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and building successful product teams that work well with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves and operate, not just manage, and a track record of developing and executing growth strategies that have significantly impacted user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to effectively influence laterally, upward, and downward in an organization
  • Proven ability to craft a portfolio of product improvement ideas and devise experiments to inform how you’d prioritize the opportunities
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using metrics and data analytics to drive decision-making
  • Bring a deep empathy for customer needs and insights as well as an intuitive grasp of the business problems
