THE TEAM

The Product Operations team is charged with increasing the ROI from our product investments by driving strategic alignment and operational excellence. We do this within Product, Engineering, and Design, and in partnership with other functions. Our scope spans the product lifecycle, from amplifying customer voices to strategic planning through standard dev processes to how we bring products to market, with the vision of instilling more consistent alignment, coordination, customer empathy, value delivery, and accountability at every step.

YOU WILL

  • Evolve the vision and strategy for the next phase of Product Operations at Eventbrite
  • Coach, develop, and remove roadblocks for three Product Operations managers who work holistically across the dev lifecycle and at the intersections with critical cross-functional partners like Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance
  • Become a trusted partner to the Product and Engineering Leadership teams, rooting out misalignment and inefficiencies that get in the way of delivering value for our customers
  • Roll up your sleeves to design and implement new processes amongst product and executive leadership, and key cross-functional partners
  • Be a primary driver of bi-annual strategic roadmap planning, and how we connect delivery of that roadmap to financial business outputs as part of the operating rhythm of the company
  • Be a champion for optimizing value delivery to our customers and an advocate for excellence in product development - both internally at Eventbrite and externally in the product development community at large.

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years in product leadership, product management, and/or program management roles
  • Proven operational leader with experience managing and developing a team, and removing roadblocks in complex organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of driving company-wide program implementation and/or strategic alignment efforts
  • Experience facilitating roadmap planning for a large product development organization, including related financial targets
  • Proven ability to build trust with and influence stakeholders of multiple seniority levels, across technical roles, customer-facing roles, and executives
  • Mastery in creating effective structure out of ambiguity
  • Strong prioritization and focus, including comfort making tradeoffs with incomplete information 
  • Adept at thinking strategically and maintaining a big picture perspective
  • Raw intellectual horsepower and a growth mindset
  • Passion for high quality products and their impact on Eventbrite’s event creators and attendees

BONUS POINTS

  • Prior experience building and/or growing a Product Operations team specifically
  • Experience using Eventbrite’s product as a creator and/or attendee
