Job Description:
This role is a great opportunity to join a small Product team who are aiming to revolutionise how people shop and love stationery. As our Associate Product Manager, you will be hands on, eager and will play a crucial role in the value we drive to the business and for our customers. This role is reporting directly into our Product Manager who you will collaborate closely with. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week in our office located in Camden, London.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the product backlog and running key agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, grooming, developing user stories etc.
- Competent in utilising data, customer insight and knowledge of OKRs to inform backlog prioritisation decisions which deliver business impact
- Effectively identifies, prioritises and resolves technical and functional issues which are related to the product
- Consistently gathers and analyses data to reflect on historical launches and maintains a cadence of sharing and communicating analysis within our Product function and across the wider business
- Builds clear and consistent communication channels with stakeholders to gather input on our Product Team priorities, to provide clear expectations and keep everyone updated on progress always
- Effectively communicates sprint work to the teams and the extended Papier organisation through Slack, Sprint Reports, All-hands, Demos etc.
- Contributes to product discovery by bringing insight and ideas to ensure we are making the right product decisions
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Some professional experience in analysing data and drawing insights to support decision-making is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - feels comfortable building relationships with stakeholders across the business
- An interest in e-commerce and DTC is preferable
- Curious about understanding customers better and interested in thinking creatively about how we can use insight to continue to build a market leading product
- Excited by working in a fast-paced environment with a significant amount of autonomy from day 1
- 1+ years Project Management, Product Owner, Product Management or Business Analyst experience on technical projects/products would be beneficial
