Working Student - UX Research

We are looking for a working student to support our User Research operations (up to 20 hours per week). 

What you’ll do:                    

• You will support senior researchers in generative and exploratory research to answer strategic questions about GYG customers’ behavior.
• You will support evaluative research initiatives to optimize the experience of new and existing features and/or products. 
• You will plan and run your own research initiatives (e.g., user interviews)
• You will run desk research.
• You will take on administrative tasks and maintain and manage our research database.
• You will help facilitate workshops and present and communicate the findings of research to a diverse audience of designers, product managers, and engineers.

What you should bring:

• You are currently enrolled as a student.
• You are studying and/or have a degree (B.A/B.S or M.A./M.S.) in a human behavior related field (HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, Anthropology or similar);
• You have experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods;
• You are enthusiastic to learn about user problems and are passionate about human centered design;
• You have experience presenting research findings with stakeholders;
• Your are communicative and open-minded;
• You work independently and are well organized;
• You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
• You live in Berlin or in a surrounding area.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in UX research and/or prior exposure to a start-up environment
