Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
You’ll be working with Stripe’s Web Presence and Platform (WPP) team, which designs and builds stripe.com and other sites that serve as many people’s first impression of Stripe. WPP creates industry-leading designs that educate customers about the power of our platform, as well as building the internal machinery that makes our websites fast, stable, and easy to modify. As such, WPP offers exciting opportunities to have a major impact on Stripe’s success.
The Design team works across many types of product initiatives at Stripe—from our brand voice to events, web and mobile products, primary qualitative and quantitative research, and even printed publications. And since Stripe’s main audience is other people who build products, we take pride in meticulously crafting user-friendly experiences.
You might call yourself a content strategist, information architect, UX writer, or another title. In this role, you’ll shape the strategic direction of high-impact projects, in addition to crafting elegant interface copy that distills complex concepts into clear, actionable language. Content designers at Stripe are empowered to dive deeply into a problem space, pairing closely with designers and researchers as equal partners. Day to day, you’ll work with small, iterative cross-functional teams while enjoying the camaraderie and support of a centralized Content Design team.
Note: This is not a content marketing or copywriting role.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
