The Job

We’re looking for a creative VP of Product Marketing to lead and propel our business through smart category design and management. You'll be a key driver in UserZoom’s future growth, through positioning and launching new products, enabling a global sales force, ideating on key campaigns and go to market strategies, and evangelizing new innovations in digital experience.

Reporting to the CMO, you, as our VP of Product Marketing, will be skilled in positioning, packaging and using multiple marketing tools and techniques to accelerate our growth.

You will work closely with our Product Management team to help drive the product launch and go-to-market strategy for new features. They’ll work closely with our sales leaders and teams, and enable them to effectively position our products and solutions and differentiate our offerings from our competition.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and own product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate UserZoom’s solutions in the marketplace.
  • Lead decisions on marketecture, naming and labeling of our Platform, Products and Features.
  • Be the champion of our category design and build and drive consistency throughout the discovery, onboarding and customer lifecycle
  • Educate the market about UserZoom’s core value offerings through multiple tactics such as demos, white-papers, workshops, presentations and blogs, driving engagement of content with the entire marketing team.
  • Lead UserZoom’s analyst relations strategy and interactions with key industry analyst firms.
  • Market intelligence - be the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Understand the competitive landscape - be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned
  • Be an expert on our buyer’s process, where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Optimize our marketing with the goal of driving up win rates higher and impact sales cycle length.
  • Provide input and strategy into product roadmap, strategy, and pricing based on market and customer research finding, industry analyst interactions and competitive findings.
  • Nurture and leverage relationships with key thought leaders, influencers and key strategic customers and partners to help increase market awareness about UserZoom.
  • Implement high impact launches and optimize land and expand GTM with revenue marketing, product and sales leadership.
  • Act as one of our thought leaders externally, including speaking engagements and written works
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
  • Support the team in setting ambitious OKRs. Ensure that those are communicated and visible across the company and progress is shared regularly.

Requirements

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in product marketing and related marketing functions in the software industry, preferably within an area of data and insights.
  • Experience packaging and positioning enterprise Software-as-a-Service offerings is essential
  • Experience in category design and build strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in building, getting buy-in and executing marketing plans, and positioning and packaging.
  • Demonstrated experience building credibility with and delivering results for product teams, sales teams and customers.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
  • Uses data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development.
