As the Head of Product Marketing, you will lead the charge in defining and driving Pigment’s product marketing strategy, with a particular emphasis on positioning Pigment at the forefront of AI-driven business planning. You’ll use deep expertise in our core audiences—Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain leaders—and translate market and customer insights into messaging, content, and campaigns that drive awareness, differentiation, and revenue growth
What you will do:
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing Product Marketing team. Set clear goals, coach for growth, and foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Operate as a key strategic voice within the broader marketing and go-to-market leadership teams. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and the C-suite to align on messaging, market strategy, and strategic priorities.
- Scale & Global Expansion: Guide the evolution of product marketing to support Pigment’s global growth. Build scalable processes, messaging frameworks, and launch strategies that can be adapted across geographies and segments.
- Audience & Market Insight: Lead efforts to understand the needs, motivations, and decision-making criteria of business leaders across Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain. Anticipate how evolving market dynamics—including AI adoption—are reshaping their priorities, and ensure those insights inform product and marketing strategy.
- Positioning, Messaging & AI Differentiation: Own Pigment’s messaging architecture, ensuring it clearly communicates our core value proposition while highlighting the unique ways Pigment leverages AI to unlock faster, more intelligent planning. Tailor messaging for different verticals, buyer personas, and use cases.
- AI Thought Leadership & Narrative Development: Define Pigment’s strategic narrative around AI in business planning. Collaborate with the executive team, product, and content marketing to create high-impact thought leadership—whitepapers, keynotes, event narratives, and C-suite content—that establishes Pigment as a visionary leader in AI-powered planning.
- Product & AI Feature Launches: Drive the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for product and AI feature launches—from beta to general availability. Ensure alignment between product, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver compelling and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Demand Generation & AI Campaigns: Partner with the Integrated Campaigns and Digital teams to create cross-channel campaigns that position Pigment’s AI capabilities as a core differentiator, generate pipeline, and strengthen brand affinity among senior business leaders.
- Customer Advocacy & AI Impact Stories:Collaborate with Customer Marketing to develop case studies, videos, and testimonials that showcase how customers are using Pigment’s AI capabilities to drive measurable outcomes across Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain functions.
- Performance Measurement:Define success metrics for product marketing initiatives and measure performance using a mix of qualitative feedback and quantitative analysis to continuously optimize messaging, positioning, and campaign effectiveness.
Who You Are:
- You bring 12+ years of experience in product marketing, including proven leadership in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments—with a deep understanding of go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and enterprise buying behavior.
- You have deep domain expertise in at least one of our key personas: Finance, Sales, or Supply Chain. You understand the complexity of their challenges and how to translate product capabilities into compelling business value.
- You have a strong grasp of AI trends, particularly how they impact business planning and decision-making. You know how to turn complex capabilities into accessible, differentiated narratives. You are an AI first product marketer tapping into some of the latest AI technologies to streamline product marketing efforts.
- You're a strategic storyteller and trusted partner to senior stakeholders—able to build alignment across product, sales, customer success, and the executive team.
- You’ve successfully led cross-functional product launches and global campaigns, from positioning through execution, and are comfortable driving both strategy and execution.
- You lead with data and insights, combining qualitative feedback and quantitative analysis to inform decisions and continuously optimize marketing efforts.
- You're an experienced team leader—known for developing talent, setting high standards, and fostering collaboration across global teams.
- You're energized by working in a fast-paced environment and bring a mindset of ownership, adaptability, and accountability.
