As a Visual Product Designer, you’ll imagine, design, and ship compelling new experiences. Your exceptional sense of style, impeccable taste, extensive experience, and extraordinary craft will be vital in shaping our design language and ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user interface. 

The ideal candidate brings intense curiosity, a dedication to craft and learning, and an openness to sharing and developing ideas. You love to learn, experiment, and engage in the design process. You enjoy the constant iteration and refinement of an idea until it feels “just right” (and even then, you keep questioning how to make it better). We request that you submit a Keynote or PDF presentation of 1-2 examples of your work, along with any passion projects, that you feel represent you as a designer. We’d love to learn how you think about product design and make decisions – from the experience of using a product to its look and feel, the craft behind it, and the trade-offs you made to ship. 

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years experience designing incredible things for screens
• Fluency with industry standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software
• Proficiency in motion graphics and animation using tools such as After Effects, Cinema 4D or Blender
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure pixel-perfect designs
• Excellent knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and composition, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Experience building design systems and reusable components, iconography and type systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience prototyping with tools such as Figma, Protopie, Origami, SwiftUI, WebGL, etc.
• Ability to bring your visual ideas to life, using  tools like Origami Studio, SwiftUI, or web technologies like WebGL or JavaScript and CSS
• Advanced knowledge of motion graphics, shaders and animation principles
• Experience using 3D tools like Blender, Cinema4D, etc.
• Interested and excited about using or experimenting with AI tools such as ChatGPT/GPT-4 (or other LLMs), Midjourney/Stable Diffusion, Hugging Face, etc.

Salary range: $175,000 - $245,000
