That is why we're looking for our first Visual Designer – someone who can help us shape the visual identity of the Weld brand.
In this role, you'll help us define our brand, identity and style. You'll take the lead on creating assets and visuals across a wide range of mediums, from our website, to our blog, eBooks, guides, ads, white papers and much, much more.
You can expect a lot of responsibility, autonomy and impact from the get-go. You'll get to play a defining role in carving Weld's image to the world. You'll work closely with Sam, who's leading the Growth and Marketing team, and Tommy, who is leading the UX and Design team.
This is an exciting time to join – the company is scaling rapidly (and we've recently closed a $4.6m seed round from some of the world's top investors) and we expect the same with the design department. Drive the visual design area of Weld. You'll be co-leading this area and will be responsible for managing your work load to ensure that every aspect of the Weld brand shines through
Plan and execute the visual design of several of our core marketing activities and assets, such as our blog, website, eBooks, ads, merch and more.
Ensure that we maintain exceptional design quality and consistency across all of our mediums and channels.
Make Weld become known to the world for our outstanding design taste and quality.
Experienced graphic designer at an agency, in-house or as a freelancer
You understand how brand design plays into a product's perceived trustworthiness, reliability and quality
A self-driven and ambitious person who has a strong inner motivation paired with a positive mindset
The competitive kind and always up for a challenge
A people’s person: strong listening skills, humble, and curious
A real team player – we have no room for sharp elbows, politics, or egos
A creative mind – you love coming up with new concepts and ideas, and are always looking for design inspiration
Experienced with motion design and/or working in a SaaS company (not needed, but nice to have)
